Chopped strand for Phenolics

CS 163D-14C chopped strand is specifically designed for excellent performances in injection and transfer moulding processes & applications. The sizing coated at the glass fibre surface is engineered for enhanced compatibility with phenolic and epoxy resin systems. Thanks to its very light colour, this product can be used in any natural grade compounds without impacting the colour of the final part. Specific manufacturing technology provides CS 163D-14C chopped strand product with excellent dispersion and impregnation. As a result, this product offers excellent properties in a wide range of applications.

PACKAGING Standard packaging for CS 163D-14C Chopped Strand is 1000 kg polypropylene bag with bottom discharge (1 bag/pallet). Packaging in smaller quantities is available on request.

STORAGE It is recommended to store chopped strand products indoor at room temperature and at a relative humidity of 50% ± 15%. The product should remain in its original packaging, preferably closed. In order to prevent static electricity and humidity problems, the chopped strand material must be conditioned in the working place just prior to use. In case a packaging unit is only partly used, it should be immediately re-sealed. The pallet can be single stacked only.
