Chopped Strand for PA

DS 1123D-10P is designed to reinforce a broad range of polyamide resins, including PA6, PA66, PA610, PA6/66 copolymers. This product has no sensitivity to mould release agents commonly used, such as calcium stearate. Its sizing has been designed in order to offer excellent dispersion properties. It can also reinforce and offer excellent performances in all flame retardant and impact modified polyamide formulations, enhanced thanks to its fine filament diameter. Thanks to its very light colour, DS 1123D-10P can be used in any natural grade compounds without impacting the colour of the final part. An innovative manufacturing technology provides DS 1123D-10P chopped strand with an excellent strand integrity and bulk density. As a result this product exhibits excellent feeding properties with very low fuzz generation.

PACKAGING Standard packaging for DS 1123D-10P Chopped Strand is 1150 kg polypropylene bag with bottom discharge (1 bag/ pallet). Packaging in smaller quantities is available on request.

STORAGE It is recommended to store chopped strand products indoor at room temperature and at a relative humidity of 50% ± 15%. The product should remain in its original packaging, preferably closed. In order to prevent static electricity and humidity problems, the chopped strand material must be conditioned in the working place just prior to use. In case a packaging unit is only partly used, it should be immediately re-sealed. The pallet can be single stacked only.
