Chopped Strand for Polyesters

DS 3185E-10N is designed to reinforce polyester PBT resins. When moulded this product exhibits excellent dry mechanical properties and good colour characteristics. DS 3185E-10N can also reinforce and show excellent performances in blends with PET and flame-retardant formulations. An innovative manufacturing technology provides DS 3185E-10N chopped strand product with an excellent strand integrity and bulk density. As a result this product exhibits excellent feeding properties with low fuzz generation. DS 3185E-10N is also free of Nonylphenol Ethoxylates.

PACKAGING Standard packaging for DS 3185E-10N chopped strand is 1150 kg polypropylene bag with bottom discharge (1 bag/ pallet). Packaging in smaller quantities is available on request.

STORAGE It is recommended to store chopped strand products indoor, at room temperature and at a relative humidity of 50% ± 15%. The product should remain in its original packaging, preferably closed. In order to prevent static electricity and humidity problems, the chopped strand material must be conditioned in the working place just prior to use. In case a packaging unit is only partly used, it should be immediately re-sealed. The pallet can be single stacked only.
