Chopped Strand for Polyesters & Styrenics

DS 3307-10N is a 10 µm-filament chopped glass fibre designed to reinforce PBT, PET and their relative blends. It is also suitable to reinforce styrenics. DS 3307-10N glass fibre’s length is 4 mm. Its fine filament diameter provides maximised mechanical performances. DS 3307-10N is also designed to fit well in flame-retardant as well as HR formulations. DS 3307-10N exhibits very low fuzz and excellent dispersion, thanks to its pelletized form. DS 3307-10N is APE-free, PFA-free and BPA-free, thus complying with the most stringent regulations.

PACKAGING Standard packaging for DS 3307-10N chopped strand is 1,150 kg polypropylene bag with bottom discharge (1 bag/pallet).

STORAGE It is recommended to store chopped strand products indoor. The product should remain in its original packaging, on closed conditions. In order to prevent static electricity and humidity problems, the chopped strand material must be conditioned in the working place just prior to use. In case a packaging unit is only partly used, it should be immediately re-sealed. For safety reasons, it is recommended to store the pallets in a single stack manner.
