Origin: Edam Cheese is the world famous Dutch cheese which usually comes in the shape of a ball. Royal A-ware produces this authentic Dutch Edam cheese using the traditional Dutch recipe. Edam has a smooth, firm texture with a mild flavor and slightly salty taste. Edam cheese is a semi hard pale-yellow cheese usually covered in red wax. Edam cheese is either round or rectangular. Edam is available in young, semi-matured, and matured varieties. We also produce Edam in foil-type.

Taste and Characteristics: Edam cheese is commonly known for it’s round shape but also available as a block cheese which makes is easier to cut in slices and smaller blocks.
