Naphthenic oils Our FLEXOIL N-series grades conform to ASTM 103 type and are formulated from carefully selected hydrotreated naphthenic base stocks. The oils are non-staining in nature and possess excellent thermal, oxidation and colour stability. Highly hydro-treated grades in this series are preferred for their low Poly-Cyclic Aromatic (PCA) levels which make them non carcinogenic. They are compatible with NR, SBR, PBR, butyl and EPM/EPDM rubbers. Naphthenic oils are recommended for use in the manufacture of: Insoluble Sulphur Butyl tubes A variety of technical, moulded and extruded products Light-coloured products Rubber & tyre Rubber & Tyre Paraffinic oils POWEROIL FLEXOIL P-series grades conform to ASTM 104 type and are formulated from highly refined, solvent-extracted base stocks of low sulphur content. Our paraffinic oils deliver strong thermal stability. These oils are used in the manufacture of light-coloured non-black rubber products and other applications where colour stability matters.
