Saran™ fiber is a synthetic fiber with the following characteristics. As pigment is added directly to the raw materials, it has excellent color fastness and is fade resistant. It displays superior chemical resistance. As the raw material is inherently self-extinguishing, addition of flame-retardants is unnecessary. It is used widely in applications such as doll hair, insoles, dishwashing pads, scrubbing brushes and water filtration.
