Growing Conditions: It was an early start to vintage, due to warmer and drier than average conditions. The first white grapes were picked in late January, with the last of the reds in the winery by the first week of March. Some challenging conditions, however with the hard work by both vineyard and winery teams, we saw some excellent potential from harvested fruit.

Vineyard: Malbec has a long growing history in Clare Valley. Used extensively in blends, as well as exceptional single varietal expressions. Fruit is grown on our Provis vineyard, situated at the northern end of the Clare Valley.
