A metric screw with the additional ability to remove coating residues inside internal threads. Developed to remove coating residues in nut threads, the b&m-TRIMSCREW® is an excellent alternative to screws with a scrape point. The b&m-TRIMSCREW® features three recesses that remove paint residues, weld spatter and blasting residue in the thread, and also remove partial deformations of the thread – preventing problems during the fastening process. Functional principle The three recesses in the span of the first four threads of the b&m-TRIMSCREW® remove coating residues in nut threads. This ensures that the thread is made workable again. The screw is used as both a tool and a fastener.
