Specifically designed for four piston callipers, the Piston Release Tool features a stopper that holds back three of the four pistons, singling out one piston for servicing and maintenance purposes.

Double-ended stoppers of 11 & 12 mm thickness, compatible with various different caliper models.

Please consult brake manufacturer for specific service and maintenance instructions.

To prevent the pistons from falling out of the calliper, only advance to an appropriate distance when applying the brakes.

DO NOT use as a piston press.

For optimal results, pair with a Birzman Disc Brake Piston Pusher (BM20-DBPP) or Double-ended Piston Pusher (BM23-DPP) when retracting the pistons.
