A photosensitive wood, Muiracatiara’s original color darkens to a deep orange with exposure to light. The colors will mellow a little after installation exhibiting less contrast between base color and striping.

Muiracatiara is world renowned for its beautiful Tiger stripping and its durability. Colors range from light golden tan to orangish brown with striping that can be both subtle and bold.

Muiracatiara can be used for several applications such as:

interior: e.g. veneer, panelling, flooring, tool handles, high class furniture, music instruments, sculpture, joinery, wood ware, sliced veneer

• exterior: e.g. panelling, boardwalks, constructions, heavy carpentry, joinery
