Ionphase ™ trSTAT

About this product

Ionphase™ trSTAT permanent anti-static additive is designed for use in transparent PMMA applications and low processing temperature polymers. It offers ESD protection in applications such as covers and housings in electronics and dust prevention in applications such as automotive interior parts and consumer appliances. It can also be used in PVC and PLA extrusion.

These additives are used to control static electricity in plastics. This works by forming an interpenetrated network within the host polymer reducing the resistivity of the blend.

Guidelines for Use:

We suggest adding the material as an additive during the extrusion process. Compounding into the host polymer is highly recommended before Injection molding.

The required loading of Ionphase™ trSTAT additive depends on the host polymer, processing method and the targeted level of static dissipation.
