A major highlight of the Flight Allocation Management system (FAMS) is the user-friendly Gantt chart based resource allocation module. The interface provides the allocation information visually, which helps staff to understand the resource allocated and the resources to be allocated.

The Flight Allocation Management system (FAMS) can be configured manually or automated by the use of allocation templates.

The system can be optionally interfaced with Flight Information Display System (FIDS), which provides the flight scheduling information.

While the system is running in the automatic mode, any changes in flight schedules will immediately be reflected in the resource allocation.
