The series 782 is an electronic accelerator pedal that utilizes inductive sensing for a precise and highly linear response, providing two ASIL B signals that are capable of supporting higher system safety levels. A non-contacting solution, the series 782 experiences little mechanical wear and tear, prolonging its operational lifespan and improving its performance reliability considerably, compared to contacting pedal alternatives. As a result of the inductive sensing design, it is a highly durable solution, working well in harsh operational environments where exposure to humidity, dust and wide temperature ranges can be expected.
