About this product

Impactodan Desolidarizador de muros is a flexible closed cell cross-linked polyethylene film that gives the product an elastic internal structure.

It is used in industrial insulation as an anti-resonant material, providing acoustic mass to galvanised steel sheets.

By leaving the partition wall floating, and breaking the elastic connection between it and the floor, transmission of frequencies from the structure are reduced, therefore improving acoustic insulation.

As it is composed of the same raw material as IMPACTODAN, it provides continuity to the impact noise damping system.

Easy and quick to install.

It is presented within a system, collected in Technical Suitability Document No. 439 with on-site tests and a detailed installation that facilitates correct monitoring of the work.

Its high resistance to damp and vapour diffusion makes it act as a capillary cutting agent.

Its good thermal conductivity makes it ideal for cutting thermal bridges, with the energy savings it entails.

Its good elasticity under continuous load over time is the manifestation of its usefulness, preserving its acoustic properties over time.

Before starting the installation, it is advisable to consult the Technical Suitability Document nº 439 “IMPACTODAN impact noise damping system”.

Once the partition walls have been laid out, the DESOLIDARIZADOR DE MUROS is placed on top of it.

Next, the brick partition wall is built on the strip according to the proposed system.

To prevent it from moving, it can be held in place with a thin layer of bonding mortar.
