GLASDAN 40/GP ERF SPECIAL ELAST.

About this product

LBM(SBS)-40/G-FV type self-protected bituminous surface sheet.

It is composed of a glass fibre felt reinforcement, coated on both sides with a bitumen mastic modified with elastomers (SBS), finished on its external side with slate in a colour of your choice as a protective material.

On the inner side, as an anti-adherent material, it incorporates a plastic finishing film.

It contains a fire retardant in its formulation

Top sheet in two-layer membranes for waterproofing of roofs with heavy bonded, unbonded or floating protection.

High resistance to static and dynamic piercing.

The mineral finish gives the membrane UV resistance.

The support status: it must be free of dust, grease, remains of paint and plaster.

Preparation of the support: loose or poorly adherent particles will be removed, so it is recommended to clean the surface to be primed. If necessary, the surface will regularize with a mortar.

Humidity of the support: CURIDAN can be applied on dry or damp surfaces, but without runoff.

Drying time: Depends on environmental temperature, insolation and humidity. Check that the touch primer is dry.

Application tools: apply by pistol, brush or roller.

Minimum application temperature: CURIDAN should not be used when the temperature is less than + 5 ° C. Primer and preparation of porous surfaces where then will weld a bituminous sheet. Can be used without diluting or either diluted with water (10-20%), until the proper concentration. Once well dry the support, apply a layer of CURIDAN, seeking well permeate the pores. The approximate yield will be 0, 2-0, 5 Kg/m². In the case of bridges and parking decks, the performance will be 0.2 Kg/m².

In case of new construction and renovation, possible chemical incompatibilities with APP plastomer-modified bitumen sheets shall be taken into account.

The design and installation of the roof structure and finishes shall be in accordance with the falls prescribed in BS 6229. Ponding of water on the surface of the waterproofing is to be avoided through effective design of roof falls and drainage systems. Throughout the life of the roof, periodic maintenance inspections should be conducted in line with the manufacturer's recommendations.

This product may form part of a waterproofing system, so all the documents referred to in the Danosa Solutions Manual must be taken into account, as well as all the regulations and legislation that must be complied with in this respect.

Not to be used in a single-layer waterproofing system.

Not suitable as cap sheet on green roofs; use GARDEN variant.

Possible incompatibility between thermal insulation and waterproofing shall be checked.

Polyurethane foam shall not be sprayed directly on top of the waterproofing without the use of a suitable separating layer (geotextiles, mortar layers, polyethylene film, etc).

Before moving the pallet, check the condition of the shrink-wrap and reinforce if necessary.

The product must be stored in a dry place protected from rain, sun, heat and low temperatures.

The product must be stored in an upright position.

This product is not toxic or flammable.

Waterproofing work should not be carried out when the ambient temperature is lower than +5ºC for hot air welding.
