About this product

IMPERDAN FP 40 P (10x1).- is a waterproofing bituminous sheet with non self-protected surface of 4.0 kg/m². Composed of a non-woven polyester felt reinforcement and covered on both sides with polymer modified bitumen (pliability -5ºC) mastic. A polyethylene film is used as anti-adherent material on both sides. Tested according to standard EN test methods.

As a slaking layer that serves to increase the mass of the single-ply membranes and improve adhesion to the substrate.

Single-layer waterproofing membrane underlay for waterproofing of roofs with heavy bonded protection.

Improved single-ply waterproofing membrane underlay for waterproofing of heavy non-bonded or floating roofs with heavy protection.

Increases performance on the site.

A better performing membrane than an oxyasphalt membrane of similar characteristics.

Better melting.

As it's made from polymer-modified bitumen mastic and in comparrison to oxyasphalt sheets, the membrane provides, high performance at high and low temperatures, plasticity and resistance to ageing, which leads to a longer durability of the sheet and the safety of the waterproofing membrane.

Allows for adaptation to any type of geometry.

Has good piercing protection from possible mechanical damage, derived from the occasional pedestrian traffic typical of flat roofs.

The surface of the base substrate shall be resistant, uniform, smooth, clean, dry and free of foreign bodies. In the case of thermal insulation, the boards shall be laid in a joint pattern and without gaps of more than 0.5 cm between boards.

Lower reinforcement in improved single-layer waterproofing membranes for roof waterproofing with adhered heavy protection (PA-6 and PA-9 membrane according to the UNE 104-402/96 standard) and adhered self-protected (GA-1 according to the UNE 104-402/96 standard). The adhesion of the membrane to the substrate is carried out with a blowtorch. In the case of mortar or concrete substrates, a bituminous primer (Curidán, Impridán 100, Maxdán or Maxdán Caucho) must be applied beforehand. . The overlaps must be welded, and shall be 8 cm in both longitudinal and transverse directions.

In case of new construction and renovation, possible chemical incompatibilities with other sheets shall be taken into account.

If it is necessary to adhere to metallic or slightly porous elements, a bituminous primer (IMPRIDAN 100) shall be applied to the entire surface to be welded beforehand.

This product may form part of a waterproofing system, so all the documents referred to in the Danosa Solutions Manual must be taken into account, as well as all the regulations and legislation that must be complied with in this respect.

Danosa waterproofing fims should be installed preferably within seven months from the date of manufacture.

Sheet intended to complement folding modified bitumen sheets -15ºC, as a replacement for oxyasphalt sheets.

There is no chemical incompatibility between the Danosa range of SBS elastomeric bitumen and APP plastomeric bitumen membranes.

Not to be used in a single-layer waterproofing system.

Not suitable as cap sheet on green roofs; use GARDEN variant.

Possible incompatibility between thermal insulation and waterproofing shall be checked.

A separating layer (DANOFELT or DANODREN) shall be laid before laying the heavy protection (paving, gravel, topsoil, etc).

Polyurethane foam shall not be sprayed directly on top of the waterproofing without the use of a suitable separating layer (geotextiles, mortar layers, polyethylene film, etc).

If expansion that could affect the sheet is expected, a geotextile separating layer (DANOFELT PY 200) shall be used between the sheet and the extruded polystyrene insulation panels, so that each product expands independently.

Before moving the pallet, check the condition of the shrink-wrap and reinforce if necessary.
