A single JK-B2A16S-TH equalizer is suitable for battery packs with 2-16 strings of cells in series. However, when the battery string voltage is lower than 20V, the equalizer needs to provide external 24V to 70V DC power.

For the battery pack with 16 cells , the installation wiring method is shown in the following figure.

Device activation

Before powering on the power supply, check whether the balance cable is properly connected, whether the power supply for the equalizer is within the required range, and whether the equalizer is properly placed before powering on the equalizer. Otherwise, serious consequences such as abnormal working or even burning may occur.

After confirming the preceding operations, power on the equalizer. The JK-B2A16S-TH equalizer does not have a power-on control switch. You only need to connect the power cable to the wiring terminal. Then the equalizer automatically starts to work. The equalizer is designed to operate automatically and is powered on for the first time when the voltage of the first battery string of the battery pack is higher than 2.4V.
