Delta protekt types of steel wire rope by China factory Process treatment: Delta Protekt is an anti corrosive coating system for steel and iron. The Protekt family consists of a Zinc Flake base coat, with some of them having integral lubricants to maintain control / torque tension values. Alternatively it is possible to apply a water based VH300 series of topcoats which would improve white corrosion protection.. It is applied like a paint either by various dipping processes for items coated in bulk (bolts, nuts, pressings etc.) or spraying (larger or more cosmetic items) before being heat cured at around 230°C. Very high corrosion protection can be obtained by film thicknesses of only a few thousandths of a millimetre. Delta Protekt is approved and specified by all of the major automotive manufacturers as well as many other well known national and international companies.
