About this product

More Outdoor Freedom with a Defined Range Steel Core Built for Pulling & Chewing Resistance Protective PVC Coating for Outdoor Environments 360° Dual Swivel Design Helps Reduce Tangling Custom Length, Diameter & Hardware for OEM Projects Products Description The Dog Tie Out Cable creates a defined roaming area for dogs in backyards, campsites, RV sites and other open outdoor spaces. Multiple cable lengths can be configured for different environments, with 10–30 ft (approx. 3–9 m) covering common short-to-medium outdoor tethering ranges. Longer lengths can also be customized for projects requiring a larger activity area. This allows brands and distributors to build different length options around dog size, available space and intended use instead of relying on a single universal specification. The Dog Tie Out Cable uses a multi-strand steel wire cable as its load-bearing core, providing higher resistance to pulling and biting than ordinary textile tether materials. The steel core is suitable for active dogs that may suddenly accelerate, pull repeatedly or chew on the tether during outdoor use. Reinforced end terminations transfer the load from the cable to the swivel hardware and hooks, creating a complete load-bearing assembly rather than relying on the outer coating for strength. Cable diameter and construction can be selected according to the required dog size and target load level. The steel core of the Dog Tie Out Cable is covered with a protective outer coating to reduce direct exposure to moisture, dirt and outdoor surfaces. The smooth coating also helps reduce abrasion on the steel cable during dragging and repeated outdoor use. For projects with specific durability requirements, coating performance can be verified through salt spray, abrasion, bending and low-temperature flexibility testing according to the customer's requested standard or test conditions. Dogs constantly change direction and circle around the anchor point during outdoor activity. The Dog Tie Out Cable uses 360° rotating swivel connections at both ends, allowing the attachment hardware to rotate with the dog's movement. Instead of continuously transferring rotational force into the cable, the swivel structure helps release accumulated twist as the dog changes direction. This reduces cable twisting and tangling while maintaining smoother movement around the tethering area. The locking hooks also provide a more secure connection to the collar, harness or fixed anchor point. The Dog Tie Out Cable can be customized in cable length, wire diameter, coating color, swivel hardware, hook type, logo and packaging to match different market and dog-size requirements. For OEM projects, we can also arrange complete assembly tensile testing, static load testing, swivel rotation testing and coating durability testing before mass production. Test conditions and acceptance criteria can be set according to the customer's target load, application and market requirements.
