Single leg steel wire rope is a basic material handling tool, and it is the most commonly used type of rigging in industry. They provide powerful, reliable and economical options for most lifting applications. Their popularity is by a large number of slings Steel wire rope Grommets, with fibre or IWR core, are widely used on offshore field and on heavy lifting. The Grommet sling is made braiding 3 times the nominal diameter (e.g. a steel wire rope Grommet diameter 30 mm. is made braiding 3 times the steel wire rope diameter 10 mm.) and splicing the ropes’ ends to “tie” them together. The big advantage of this type of slings is the possibility to reach very significant diameters manufacturing up to 180 mm., sizes that is not possible to reach with Sleeves’ swaging process and compared to the same soft eyes Slings’ diameters the Grommets’ WLL is impressively greater. Wire rope slings are industrial lifting slings. There’re single leg wire rope sling, 2-leg wire rope sling, 3-leg wire rope sling, 4-leg wire rope sling, braided wire rope slings, endless wire rope grommets, socket wire rope slings.
