Mechanical Property Genergally we produce stainless steel spring wire in accordance with the specifications of JIS WPB, JIS WPA, WPC&ASTM. EN-10270 Product Grade We can supply several kinds of stainless steel spring wire with the following chemical compositions Type 302 / 304 are most popularly used in the manufacture of springs because of their outstanding mechanical property and corrosion resistance. Type 316 is recommended for the manufacture of springs which require a particularly high corrosion resistance and non- magnetic property, but it's mechanical properties are somewhat inferior to those of mype 302 / 304, mype 631J1 / 631 are used for heat resistant spring and high tensile strength spring after heat treatment, but poorer corrosion resistance than Type 302 / 304.
