About this product

FilmTec™ LiNE-XLE element is a low-energy, high-productivity nanofiltration membrane specifically designed for lithium brine purification in Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) processes. It efficiently removes sulfate and other multivalent ions from high-TDS lithium brine while maintaining high lithium passage, helping producers maximize lithium recovery with minimal lithium loss. Advanced membrane chemistry and an optimized design deliver strong purification performance at lower energy consumption, while a 10% increase in active membrane area boosts productivity and can reduce the number of elements required in a system. The result is a more efficient, cost-effective brine treatment solution that supports simplified system design and reliable operation. Uses Sulfate and other multivalent anion removal from high TDS chloride-rich lithium brine streams. Brine treatment prior to the DLE adsorbent step. Preliminary screening element for the removal of divalent cations from high TDS, chloride rich lithium brine streams. Advantages Efficient in removing sulfate (SO4) and divalent anions from a high total dissolved solids (TDS) lithium brine stream in Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) process. Expertly designed and optimized for membrane water permeability and divalent anion rejection to enable desired purification at low energy consumption. State-of-the-art membrane chemistry for high lithium passage, allowing negligible or no lithium mass loss in high recovery systems. Engineered element construction helps reduce the operational challenges associated with fouling. Additional 10% active area (compared to FilmTec™ LiNE-XD element) increases productivity while simplifying system design by reducing the number of required elements and auxiliaries. Dry element availability for easy transportation and handling.
