The tool is designed to produce flameless heat which makes it the ideal hot-air gun to apply a huge variety of heat shrink tubing and heat shrink wire markers as well as molded shapes or heat shrink boots, transition shapes, end caps and cable repair sleeves especially in harsh outdoor conditions covering freezing temperatures as low as -8 °C.
