Advanced technology The EH5000AC-3 is our largest dump truck and one of the most technologically advanced of its kind. It features the Advanced Hitachi Construction Machinery AC Drive System, and is the only one available on the market where the drive system and the truck are designed and built by the same manufacturer. We developed the AC Drive System using advanced propulsion technology, which also powers Japanese bullet trains. It ensures a superior performance, with higher top speeds and stronger electric braking. The AC wheel motors are designed to require less maintenance, provide higher availability and faster travel speeds. The result? Higher productivity and lower costs per tonne, and a quicker return on your investment. Easy operation Inside the cab of the EH5000AC-3 you will find a large centrally mounted colour display for straightforward operation. It’s structurally sound thanks to the double-wall construction, and vibrations are kept to a minimum. The superior suspension of the EH5000AC-3 ensures excellent manoeuvrability, even at high speeds, and the trailing arm layout also offers easy servicing. Direct access to the coolant, grease, hydraulic and engine oil is available at ground level. Wide Compatibility with Bucket Capacities The EH5000AC-3 is well matched with hydraulic excavators such as the EX8000, while also supporting efficient loading with models including the EX5600. This configuration supports efficient loading performance across a wide range of operating conditions, as illustrated.
