Y2 series motors are defined as totally enclosed, fancooled, squirrel cage type and have such good features as novel design, beautiful modeling, low noising, high efficiency and large torque. The frames and endshields are made of cast iron or aluminum-alloy, and all cooling ribs of motors assume vertical or horizontal distribution. Moreover, these motors have excellent starting performance, compact structure and easy serving. They are adopted with F class insulation and designed with assessing method for insulation system according to international practice. The PTC thermistors or thermal protectors can be mounted according to the special requirements of customers. The protection degree reaches IP54 or IP55 so that it greatly enhances motor's safety and reliability. Therefore, these motors have reached an international advanced level of such kind of products. Y2 series motors can be widely used as driving equipments of various machineries, such as machine tools, blowers, pumps, compressors, transporters, agricultural and food processing. Detailed Technical Data Y series three-phase asynchronous electric motor, as the latest series designed in China, is enclosed self-ventilation air-cooling cage A/C asynchronous electric motor. Its protective grade is IP44. The Y series electric motor has a lot of advantages including: high efficiency, large starting rotor torque, excellent performance, low nose, low vibration, high reliability, convenient operation and maintenance, and the mounting dimension that meets the IEC standard, and so on. The Y series electric motor is fit for the common sites that contain no inflammable, explosive or corrosive gas and machineries that has no special requirements including: metal cutting machine, water pump, fan, transportation machinery, puddle mixer, agricultural machinery, foodstuff machinery, etc. The model code of the Y series electric motor comprises four parts: the first part "Y "indicates asynchronous electric motor; the digits of the second part indicate the central height of the frame (which remains the same with footing as well as without); the English letter of the third part is the code of the frame length (S-short frame, M-medium frame, L-long frame), the digit after the letter is the code of the iron core length; and the digit after the hyphen is the fourth part which indicates the poles of the electric motor. NEMA standard high efficiency three-phase induction motors NEMA standard high efficiency motors are totally enclosed fan cooled machine (IP54). This series motors are designed and manufactured in accordance with NEMA standard of U.S.A and C390-93 standard of Canada. These motors are of a novel style and of excellent workmanship. The motors are characterized as reliability safety, minimal temperature rise, high efficiency, low noise, low vibration, high starting torque,etc. The motors adopt design B and class F insulation. Their service factor is 1.15. They are rated 208~230/460V, 460V or 575V and 60Hz. Expesure to an ambient temperature in the range of -15?? to 40??, arid to an altitude which dose riot exceed 3300 feet. They are ideal far application with no special requirement. They can be used to drive various kinds of mechanical equipment. This series motors can be specially manufactured on request, such as T, TC, TD or H insulation class, different voltage, different frequency, etc. TERMINAL BOX The terminal box is generally located in the middle of the frame. There are 3,6,9,and 12 out leads. The follow diagrams indicate the ways of connection. The length of leads 6 inches measured from frame surface. Terminal marking and connections should accord with MG1-2.62. There is grounding screw with grounding marking in the terminal box. Its protective grade is IP44. This series comprises three types: dual-speed, tri-speed4d, and four-speed and can change speed step by step. It can be used in the equipments that requires pole-changing in different steps, in the fields of: mine, weaving, printing, chemical industry, agricultural machinery etc, and also can simplify or replace the gear reducer in the mechanic drive. YDT series change pole multi-speed three phase asynchronous motors The YDT series change pole multi-speed three phase asynchronous motor for fan and pump is a derived series product of the Y series motor with excellent mechanical behaviour, elegant shape and outstanding interchangeability with the overseas similar products. Its protective grade is IP44. The motors of this series includes tow types: dual-speed and tri-speed. The speed varies step by step. The products are used in fan, water pump and other plant equipment. The rate voltage is 380V,the rate frequency is 50HZ, and the class the insulation is B class. The code of the frame (the central height), structure type, and the parts of the motor, the mounting dimensions and contour dimension are correspondingly identical with those of the Y series motor for the conveniences of the customers in choosing, installing, using and maintaining the products. YEJ series electromagnetic braking three phase asynchronous motors The new series YEJ motors are full-closed, fan-cooling squirrel-cage three phase asynchronous ones with disc D.C electromagnetic brakes, nation-widely unified and designed. The series YEJ motors have advantages of high efficiency, high starting torque, quick braking, less vibration, low noise. According with IEC standard, their mounting sizes are as same as the series "y". In addition, the brake has a hand reliving device, which makes it not only have function of hand reliving, but also have function of electro tripping. The series YEJ motors are suitable for main shaft transmissions and auxiliary transmissions which are required quickly to stop, exactly to position, reciprocatedly to rotate, transport, package, food, print, construction, textile, woodworking, retarding, metallurgical and forging machineries, etc. The D.C disc brake of the series YEJ motor is mounted on shaft-extending end. Turn on the motor, the brake will operate at the same tine. By the action of electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnetic will attract the armature, the spring will be compressed to make the braking disc separate from the armature and cover, and the motor starts to rotate. And turn off the motor, the electromagnet of the brake will lose attraction, the spring will push the armature to make it press the braking disc tightly, and the motor will stop working immediately by the action of the friction force moment. The rated voltage and frequency of the series YEJ motors are respectively 380V, 50Hz. A rectifier within the wiring box supplies power for the brake. Surrounding Temperature: not higher than 40.
