48V BSA combines a DC-DC converter capable of converting 48 V to 12 V and vice-versa and a battery management system (BMS) that collects and processes data on battery conditions. It provides auxiliary torque during acceleration, supplies 12 V power to electric components and stores energy in the battery that is re-generated during deceleration.

Mobis Battery system supplies power to the electric motors of an electric vehicle (xEV) and is charged during regenerative braking. It provides a solution for EVs as it is fully geared to customer needs by extending range through high energy density, increasing cooling efficiency by means of a heat management system and enhancing fuel efficiency based on electric energy from the battery.
