Mobis products in ACU8 segment include i) sensor units that determine the optimal level of restraint for occupants based on the level and type of impact, fastening of the seat belt and the size of the occupant, ii) MyCom that incorporates a deployment logic and crash algorithm to determine whether the airbag should be deployed and iii) trigger ASIC that supplies current required for airbag deployment. We offer a wide range of electronic components for airbags that can regulate their deployment in the most optimal manner based on how an impact occurs.

Mobis offer controllers that can regulate the deployment of airbags based on the strength and type of an impact on the vehicle. The controllers also take into account the number of occupants, their sizes, locations in the cabin and postures during the regulation for maximum protection.
