A belt type EPS where the motor is directly fitted to the axle. Its advantages include lower abrasion and higher power output making it ideal for medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

A steering system allows the driver to change the direction in which the vehicle moves while in motion. An electric power steering system, or EPS, uses a motor, instead of a hydraulic system, that can be controlled with much higher precision to provide optimized steering as well as greater ease and safety. Mobis EPS features not only superb responsiveness and steering, but also greater safety through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA). It comes in multiple forms (i.e. R-EPS, P-EPS, C-EPS) depending on the vehicle’s performance requirements.
