Reinforcement for Telecom Cable
Description
INDOLINE FLX is manufactured using latest and precise INDOLINE technology with glass fiber and proprietary resin system to provide lower bending radius, good anti-buckling property with high modulus. These are than coated with a polymer, offering balance of peel strength and adhesion.
INDOLINE FLX, rods are available in diameter ranging from 0.30 to 1.8 mm and packaged on a standard small plastic or wooden spools.
Long continuous lengths with very close diameter tolerance, makes it suitable for trouble free high cable productivity and lower wastage.
Product Application
INDOLINE FLX, have been specially developed for the upcoming Fiber to the home (FTTX) cables, where FRP rods with very low bend radius and good adhesion to jacket are required. These are used for peripheral reinforcement embedded in a PE/PVC/LSHF type jacket material. Very Good adhesion of rods to jacket materials facilitates maximum transfer of load to the rod and hence protecting the fiber.
These rods are suitable for Aerial Drop, FTTX, Riser and Micro-duct cables.
The cables manufactured with INDOLINE FLX, are very flexible, with sufficient anti-buckling property and higher in strength to facilitate easy installation even in very small bends.
