Description Emulprene 1009HCR is a crumb hot emulsion styrene-butadiene copolymer, highly cross-linked with divinylbenzene. It is polymerized using fatty acid as emulsifier, coagulated with salt acid, and stabilized with a non-staining antioxidant. Between 3 to 6 % of Calcium carbonate is used as dusting agent.

Packing This product is commercialized in 23 ± 1/4 Kg cardboard boxes and unitized on palletized wooden skids with 42 boxes each. Additional packing information upon request.

Uses Emulprene 1009HCR is used to improve the dimensional stability during extrusion, molding, and calendaring operations. It is also used in mist type spray adhesives. It exhibits excellent shear strength when used in PSA.

Storage Store in dry and ventilated area where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or sources of ignition. To prevent premature agglomeration store below 25 °C in low humidity areas.
