The Saia-Burgess brand VA product platform offers the industry’s widest speed and torque range in a compact module. The actuator systems align with the design requirements of automatic valve actuation for temperature regulation such as battery cooling or engine temperature control. The saia-burgess VA actuator platforms, classes 1 to 3, are designed to operate under harsh temperature and vibration requirements in a fully customized package with high torque, high reliability and within a low power budget. VA custom engineered actuators support LIN BUS, PWM or simple on-off communication protocols and can optionally be equipped with feedback position control and/or mechanical fail safe function.
