Choose From Pull or Push Configurations

In pull-type solenoids, the plunger is pulled into the solenoid when the coil is energized. Although push-type solenoids work in a similar way, the plunger has a shaft extension which pushes out through a hole in the end of the case.

How easy is installation, and what kind of connector will we need to use?

An industry-standard Molex® connector is integrated into every Ledex tubular solenoid housing, allowing for seamless installation into your application while eliminating time-consuming design customization and reducing time to market.

Installation is further simplified by a threaded nose and anti-rotation flat that prevents the solenoid from moving. This eliminates the need for external E-rings and impact washers, which typically fail prematurely and can interfere with attached mechanisms.

You can provide your own connections or use the included wire harness.

Our design uses a legacy version of your tubular solenoid. Is the current product compatible?

We've redesigned the most popular configurations of the STA tubular solenoids to achieve four goals:

Traceability — Every solenoid goes through end-of-line testing and is marked with a unique barcode for enhanced quality control.

Easy adaptation to existing designs — As noted above, we've designed next-gen tubular solenoids to be functionally similar to legacy products so they can be adapted easily with only minor modifications.

Expandability — This new platform is fully compatible with our Solligence™ technology. This allows for a smart solenoid that consumes less energy, produces less heat, performs consistently throughout its service life, with predictive maintenance, IoT/Industry 4.0, and other data communication capabilities.
