LTM 1300-6.4 - Reaching new heights.

As the successor to the LTM 1300-6.3, the LTM 1300-6.4 not only features a new crane design. It is also the third mobile crane equipped with the LICCON3 control system in the Liebherr portfolio. With its 90-metre telescopic boom, the 6-axle machine is designed for high performance at extreme lifting heights and steep boom positions. The 300-tonner is ideal for tower crane assembly and the installation of antennas, as well as wind turbine maintenance.

What's inside World record: a 90 m / 295 ft telescopic boom that can be carried in full with an axle load of 12 t / 26,450 lb. Variable support: VarioBase® Plus supporting base enables the outriggers to be extended to different lengths and delivers even greater lifting capacities through its trapezoidal shape. Economical and compact : the mechanically adjustable VarioBallast® ballasting system enables the amount of ballast to be reduced whilst also enabling easy access to particularly constricted sites. Flexible in the wind: load charts with different maximum wind speeds of up to 15.6 m/s increase flexibility and safety in everyday use. LICCON3: The third generation of the LICCON control system takes the familiar crane control to a new level and features some impressive new technologies. Perfectly ballasted: the counterweight has been improved both for transport and full crane operations. AutoBallast enables the ballasting process to be completed quickly and easily.

Technology Single-engine concept: Take one engine out to increase lifting capacity. Or more accurately – the superstructure is powered by the undercarriage engine. Gear shafts are routed from the distributor gear in the substructure via two mitre gears to the pump distributor gear in the superstructure. That enables us to remove one engine – and we use this to increase the crane’s lifting capacity. LICCON3: The third generation LICCON control system features the same time-tested operation as previous generations and adds a fast data bus, significantly more storage space and greater computing power. LICCON3 cranes are prepared for telematics and fleet management. VarioBase® Plus: The combination of VarioBase technology and the crane’s structural steelwork. A trapezoidal support combined with the various support base delivers even higher lifting capacities, particularly over the crane’s rear outriggers. VarioBallast® (mechanical): Mechanically slewing ballasting cylinders enable the ballast radius to be changed quickly to two different settings. The smaller radius is used in constricted conditions whilst the larger one is used if a higher lifting capacity is required. This significantly increases the crane’s flexibility. AutoBallast: The AutoBallast function completes the ballasting process automatically. All the steps are carried out after the button has been pressed just once. WindSpeed load charts: Increased flexibility and safety by using lifting capacity tables with different maximum wind speeds. Driver assistance systems: Driver assistance systems for extra safety on the road. All new mobile crane models are equipped with driver assistance systems that support the crane driver with additional „eyes“. They scan the environment and warn the crane driver to prevent accidents.
