Messem highlights strawberries in all shape and sizes Messem highlights frozen strawberries, which are packaged in 20 kg, 10 kg or 30 lbs cartons or pails and cut in all variations: from slices and halves to cubes and irregular quarters.

Special agronomical framework Markets around the world, as well as special applications such as baby food and freeze-dried food can rely on Messem’s special agronomical frameworks. These structures assure the customer that pesticide and biocide residues are within the limits of both customer specifications and national legislation.

Handled with the greatest care The inspection process is executed with the greatest care in four different stages. The strawberries are first individually and manually destemmed and inspected before being washed and diced, sliced or quartered, as required. After this detailed cleaning process, the strawberries are individually quick frozen (IQF), once again inspected and packed into cardboard boxes. They are then ready to be shipped directly to customers around the world or to cold storage facilities in the Netherlands. As per the customer’s specifications, the strawberries can also be statically frozen, with our without sugar.
