About this product

Dimethyl ether (DME) is a product produced via the dehydration-condensation reaction of methanol. It is mainly used for CFC-substituting aerosol propellants in various regions of the world, and, to effectively utilize its characteristic as a clean-combustion gas, its use as an agricultural carbon dioxide and an extracting agent for water-containing media has recently been considered. We are the only manufacturer of dimethyl ether in Japan.
