Dimethylformamide (DMF) is a product produced by reacting dimethylamine with methyl formate. DMF is one of the alkylamides, a polar solvent that is mixed with and dissolved into a wide variety of organic and inorganic materials, including water. It is used in various types of reaction solvents for synthetic fibers, synthetic resins, pharmaceutical and agricultural chemicals, and others. We are the only manufacturer of dimethylformamide in Japan.
