Bekaert’s wire for wiper hooks and springs is high carbon wire coated with Bezinal®. The zinc aluminum coating makes the wire surface smoother and easier to coil. It also makes the wire up to three times more corrosion resistant than galvanized wires. The Bezinal® zinc aluminum coating provides excellent corrosion including cathodic protection of the cut-ends. The coating protects the wiper components against corrosive agents such as: wiper fluid, rain, ice and salt spray. Supports a consistent forming process Bezinal® has also a positive impact on the production process. The smooth surface allows for higher coiling speeds and a more consistent forming process. It limits the amount of flaking and burrs. This means less scrap and more costs saved. The smooth pay-off also helps reduce set-up times.
