Tyre side protection for dump trucks has always been a challenge. Conventional tyre protection chain systems have not yet been able to solve this problem due to wear. What was needed was a solution that would provide cost-effective and effective sidewall protection for equipment travelling at speeds of over 50 km/h over long distances. The inventor and world market leader of tyre protection chains, the RUD GROUP, has two solutions that solve this problem without the need for components on the tread of the tyre. SIDEFLEX® The SIDEFLEX® system works according to the modular principle. Unlike other systems, components or parts do not have to be welded to rim components beforehand. Therefore, there is no risk of rim components being damaged by heat or their strength and shape being impaired! The carrier disc is attached using a special expanding and clamping system - Damage to the system can be repaired quickly and cost-effectively thanks to flexible individual wings - The system is quick and easy to install or remove when changing tyres - The weight is low - The wing design prevents the tyre from overheating - The distance to the tyre is adjustable - Due to the memory effect, the wings always return to their original position after bending and thus provide lasting protection SIDEPROTECTOR® The SIDEPROTECTOR® absorbs any force without breaking or becoming permanently deformed. Pre-moulded from highly developed memory plastic for the automotive industry. - Extremely robust! - Wear-resistant! - UV-resistant! - Moisture resistant! - Resistant to acids and alkalis! - Temperature-resistant from -200 °C to +200 °C! - Lightweight! (approx. 115 kg per assembly)
