Scope of application · It can be used as chemical reagent, glass etchant (used in combination with hydrofluoric acid), disinfectant and preservative in fermentation industry, solvent for making metal beryllium from beryllium oxide, and surface treatment agent of silicon steel plate. It is also used in the manufacture of ceramics and magnesium alloys, the cleaning and elution of boiler feed water system and steam generation system, as well as the acid treatment of oil field sandstone. It is also used as a catalyst component for alkylation and isomerization.

Product features · ammonium fluoride is an ionic compound. It is white or colorless transparent orthorhombic crystal at room temperature, slightly sour. It is easy to deliquesce and decompose into ammonia and hydrogen fluoride when heated or in hot water. It decomposes in hot water, and the aqueous solution is strongly acidic. It is obtained by neutralizing anhydrous hydrofluoric acid with liquid ammonia. It can corrode glass and is corrosive to skin.
