Introduction

ASTM hot-dip galvanized steel wire is a metal wire made of low-carbon steel. By dipping the steel wire into molten zinc, forming a thick zinc layer, its corrosion resistance is significantly improved. High corrosion resistance

Due to the hot-dip galvanizing process, a zinc layer with a thickness of 40–200 μm is formed on the surface of the steel wire. This thick zinc layer effectively isolates the external moisture and oxygen, making the steel wire show excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Compared with ordinary steel wire, the corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized steel wire is improved by more than 3 times.

Enhanced mechanical properties

The low-carbon steel material itself has good ductility and toughness. After cold drawing or hot rolling, the steel wire has a denser structure and significantly improved strength. With the hot-dip galvanized protective layer, the tensile strength of ASTM hot-dip galvanized steel wire can generally reach 900–1400 MPa, meeting the use requirements under high-load and high-tension environments.

ASTM hot-dip galvanized steel wire adopts low-carbon steel with excellent plasticity and combines hot-dip galvanizing technology to make the steel wire have good tensile, bending, welding, and weaving adaptability.
