About this product

Galvanized wire is a metal product made by coating steel wire (typically low-carbon steel) with a layer of zinc to enhance rust resistance and corrosion protection. It is widely used in construction, agriculture, industry, and household applications.

Galvanized steel wire is a metal material with a zinc layer uniformly coated on the surface of high-strength low-carbon steel wire. It has excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and processing performance. The product is suitable for many industries such as construction, energy, agriculture, industrial manufacturing, etc., and is one of the important basic materials for current structural reinforcement and material connection.

Feature

Excellent corrosion resistance

The dense zinc layer covering the surface of the galvanized iron wire can effectively isolate air and moisture and prevent the steel core from being oxidized. Under the hot-dip galvanizing process, the zinc layer thickness can reach 40-60μm, and the zinc adhesion is usually between 80-300 g/m², ensuring that the product can be used stably for more than 15 years in corrosive environments such as high humidity, acid, alkali, or salt spray.

High tensile strength

Galvanized iron wire uses Q195 low-carbon steel as the base material. After wire drawing, its crystal structure is more dense, which significantly improves the overall mechanical properties. The tensile strength of the iron wire is usually between 500-1800 MPa, with good load-bearing and impact resistance.

Smooth and uniform surface

After multiple surface treatment processes such as pickling, cooling, and passivation, the galvanized iron wire finally presents a smooth and uniform metal surface. The zinc layer is tightly bonded and not easy to fall off. The friction coefficient is controlled between 0.3 and 0.4, which can reduce the wear rate by about 30% compared with untreated iron wire. This surface state effectively reduces friction and wear with other parts during use, which is conducive to extending the operating life of the equipment.
