TWN 1836 Eye Self-Locking Hooks [spec table 1] The grade 100 eye self-locking hooks TWN 1836 are used to assemble lifting slings and are also used in the construction industry. The round steel chains may be assembled with connecting links, e.g. XL-LOKs TWN 1820. When the hooks are under load, they lock automatically. They may only be reopened manually, when the hooks are not under load anymore. The manufacturing and testing requirements comply with the DIN EN 1677-3 under consideration of the grade 100 load capacities.
TWN 1837 Clevis Self-Locking Hooks [spec table 2] The grade 100 clevis self-locking hooks TWN 1837 are used to assemble chain slings and are often used in the construction industry. The clevis design enables the direct attachment to the chain strands. When the hooks are under load, they lock automatically. The swivel adapter is mounted on the clevis design system of the clevis sling hook. The large eyelet of the swivel adapter enables, e.g. a connection to a chain or rope strand as well as textile slings. The slip hook has forged measuring points as limit values that enable the max. hook mouth width to be checked. The clevis design enables the direct attachment to the lifting chain. Forged-in measuring points of the max. limit values of the hook opening enables easy control. The forged safety latch prevents an unintentional detachment from the load.
