For heavy duty run of mine (ROM) applications the apron feeder is the only choice due to its robust design. Occasionally certain applications may be handling a material having a high temperature, over 200C, in which case apron feeders are also a reliable choice. Are spillage conveyors required? In most cases due to the inherent design of apron pans, spillage conveyors are installed beneath apron feeders, these can be a simple belt or chain design. Are the full range of after sales services available from Transmin? Transmin is able to provide full on site or off-site service and maintenance capability.
