The LPF has the unique ability to change direction using a bend transition. Historically, belt feeders have been used form multiple applications and are generally a cost effective solution, which is easily maintain. What are the limitations of a belt feeder? In some cases belt feeders are prone to miss-tracking, where the belt wanders to one side. In such cases a Low Profile Feeder will be a more suitable solution as it completely eliminates miss-tracking. Can a belt feeder be reversed? Belt feeders do not lend themselves to reversing in most cases due to the problem of miss-tracking in reverse. Should the application require frequent reversing capability, a Low Profile Feeder is a better solution.
