The Dräger Polytron 8700 IR is a state-of-the-art, explosion-proof gas detector for detecting flammable gases at the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). It features the high-performance Dräger PIR 7000 IR sensor for fast detection of the most common hydrocarbon gases. In addition to the 3-wire, 4-20mA analog output (with relay), it also offers HART®, Modbus, and Fieldbus protocols, making it compatible with most control systems.
