About this product

Floway® vertical turbine pumps (VTP) are vertical direct-coupled, single and/or multistage turbine pumps, with a cast or fabricated discharge head, top mounted motor and closed suction or wet pit design. This product is available in a wide range of metallurgies, which are suitable for multiple applications for various markets. Overview Floway® is manufactured by and is a registered trademark of Trillium Pumps USA, Inc, a division of Trillium Flow Technologies™. We are an authorised distributor for the Floway product group in the mining and minerals market segment. Floway® Vertical Turbine Pumps (VTP) are available in a variety of material combinations to suit multiple applications. They feature a special toleranced motor coupling and jacking posts for precise motor/pump shaft alignment, special impeller balancing and reduced run-out on motor base resulting in industry leading low vibration levels. Floway® vertical turbine pumps have a tapered collet impeller mounting option for easy installation, lateral adjustment and low hydraulic thrust. It also has a semi-open impeller option for solids handling capability or a flanged column option for ease of assembly. Water can be unpredictable and so can site requirements - that’s why we regularly put our engineering skills to the test in the development of engineered-to-order solutions. Simulation techniques such as Discrete Element Modelling (DEM) and ProteusDS marine software allows us to simulate our barges on a virtual environment of the client’s pond and how it interacts with different environmental loading scenarios. Our team of specialists study the ins and outs of each operation to deliver integrated turnkey solutions featuring our extensive range of equipment ideal for sand and aggregates, mining, and industrial applications.
