Lightweight sturdy knife gate valves for abrasive process flow conditions. Overview Frequently used within mining, Isogate® wafer-style knife gate valves are lightweight and ideal for low-pressure slurry transport duties, classification, tailings, filtration and dredging. Thanks to their great abrasion-resistance and reliability, they are frequently used for abrasive slurry services that contain a high percentage of solids. Compared to other types of valves, our Isogate® wafer-style knife gate valves offer the following benefits: • Robust construction that ensures long service life • Two-piece Linard® HD60 rubber sleeve design which helps to reduce corrosion • Field-replaceable thick Linard® HD60 rubber sleeves that are easily replaced without disassembling the valve • Bi-directional, full bore design to reduce turbulence and pressure drops • Packingless design with grease labyrinth that lubricates gate on cycling and requires no adjustment • Low discharge sleeve design minimises discharge on cycling (optional flush plate available) • No seat cavities where solids can collect and cause gate interference • Yoke design allows fitting for all actuator types without modifications • Body flushing ports offered as standard • Proximity switch mounting holes provided as standard (no extra brackets required) • Gate guides reduce gate movement and protect sleeves from damage Isogate® valves can also be integrated with our Accumin® automatic lubricators to maximise sleeve life and valve performance. Isogate® WR Series Wafer-Style Valve Our latest development, lightweight Isogate® WR wafer-style knife gate valves are designed to ensure longer wear life and increased reliability across multiple industries. Their improved gate guide helps to reduce gate deflection and stress on the downstream side of the sleeve, and the lightweight sturdy valve body (made from Linard® HD60 premium rubber) allows for easy change-out of sleeves. These valves are especially suited to hydrocyclone isolation and feed, slurry transport, flotation, low-pressure tailings and tailings distribution, performing particularly well in ash handling and mineral sand. Size Range: From 50mm to 600mm (2" to 24") Pressure: Operates to a maximum pressure of 1034kPa (150psi). Optional gate guards are also available. Isogate® WS Series Wafer-Style Valve The Isogate® WS series wafer-style knife gate valve features a unique design that delivers the benefits of reliable service, ease of maintenance and long-term performance, combined with low overall ownership costs. These valves are especially suited to applications involving pulp and paper, cement, power, sand and gravel, mineral sands, phosphate, alumina and soda ash. Accumin® Automatic Lubricators To complement our range of knife gate valves, we offer Accumin® automatic lubricators. These lubrication systems are designed to fit with Isogate® knife gate valve to maximise sleeve life and valve performance – without the need to undertake costly manual labour. Accumin® lubricators help to ensure that grease is continually delivered to the top seals, so that your valves are always lubricated with the correct amount. They are available in two sizes and two drive configurations, making them ideal for use in a variety of applications. In addition to improved performance, Accumin® lubricators help to improve reliability, prevent unplanned downtime, reduce maintenance costs and demand on manual labour, thus increasing personnel safety.
