Overview Isogate® wide-body knife gate valves are engineered to provide reliable on-off flow control service in tough, abrasive and corrosive applications. They are designed to deliver reliability and long service life in severe and high-pressure flow applications. Frequently used within mining and a number of industrial applications, these wide-body valves are ideal for slurry transportation, tailings, concentrate and filtration, dredging and digesting. They are especially suited to applications involving pulp and paper, cement, sand and gravel, mineral sands, phosphate, alumina and soda ash. Compared to other types of valves, our Isogate® wide-body knife gate valves offer the following benefits: • A two-piece elastomer sleeve design that protects flow areas against corrosion and erosion • Easy-to-replace elastomer sleeves • Bi-directional 100% bubble tight shut-off • Packingless design - no gate or stem packing • Suitable for use in abrasive slurry services that contain a high percentages of solids • Open bottom allows for the purging of solids • No seat cavities where solids can collect and cause gate interference • Yoke design allows fitting for all types of actuators • Flush control option allows for periodic cleaning of the lower discharge vent and allows flushing as needed Isogate® valves can also be integrated with our Accumin® automatic lubricators to maximise sleeve life and valve performance. Isogate® WH/WHP Series High-Pressure Valve Our Isogate® WH and WHP series of high-pressure knife gate valves are designed to provide reliable service in tough, abrasive and high-pressure slurry applications. Size Range: From 80mm to 900mm (3" to 36") Pressure: Operates to a maximum pressure of 2000 to 5100kPa (up to 740psi). Isogate® WB Wide-Body Valve Series Our Isogate® WB series of wide-body knife gate valves feature a robust design and heavy-duty construction. This provides dependable reliability and long life in highly abrasive, corrosive and coarse slurry applications. Size Range: From 80mm to 1350mm (3" to 54") Pressure: Operates to a maximum pressure of 1400kPa (200psi). Optional gate guards are also available. Accumin® Automatic Lubricators To complement our range of knife gate valves, we offer Accumin® automatic lubricators. These lubrication systems are designed to fit with Isogate® knife gate valve to maximise sleeve life and valve performance – without the need to undertake costly manual labour. Accumin® lubricators help to ensure that grease is continually delivered to the top seals, so that your valves are always lubricated with the correct amount. They are available in two sizes and two drive configurations, making them ideal for use in a variety of applications. In addition to improved performance, Accumin® lubricators help to improve reliability, prevent unplanned downtime, reduce maintenance costs and demand on manual labour, thus increasing personnel safety. Features and benefits Designed for Heavy-duty Applications Isogate® heavy-duty knife gate valves are specifically designed to provide reliable on-off flow control in tough, high-pressure, abrasive and corrosive applications. Given their robust construction, these valves are suitable for use with slurries containing a high percentage of solids. Simple to Clean and Maintain Isogate® heavy-duty knife gate valves contain elastomer sleeves that can be easily replaced in the field without disassembling the valve. They also come with a flush control option that allows for periodic cleaning of the lower discharge vent and allows flushing as required. Low Discharge Seat design is optimised to offer lowest in its class discharge when cycling. Why Weir?
