Overview Our range of Linard® hard rubber products have been designed to meet the demanding performance requirements of a variety of industries, especially mining and aggregates. Made from natural and synthetic rubbers, Linard® hard rubber sheet and moulded products provide the following benefits: • High resilience and resistance to cutting, tearing, chipping and heavy impact • Superior performance in heavy-duty, wet and semi-dry applications compared to other types of rubber (particularly applications with sliding or sticky abrasive feed material). Our Linard® hard rubber products include: • Linard® 60 rubber - A specially formulated silica-reinforced hard rubber designed for semi-dry applications and sliding abrasion resistance. • Linard® HD rubber range (HD60, HD70 & HDS) - Consists of a blend of natural and synthetic rubber compounds that are designed to give exceptional toughness and withstand severe abrasion in heavy-duty, dry or humid applications. They can also be used to provide superior protection to plant and machinery (e.g. haul truck bed liners). Linard® 60 Rubber Linard® 60 is a specially formulated silica-reinforced natural rubber product that has been designed to provide high resilience with good cut, tear and sliding abrasion resistance. These qualities make Linard® 60 rubber the perfect hard rubber lining solution for many challenging problems, especially given that it retains the natural strength and nerve of latex combined with the toughness required to handle coarse materials. It also has exceptional anti-stick and anti-build-up properties which is advantageous in abrasive environments, where sticking or build-up of feed material is an issue. Being a hard rubber, it is most suited to semi-dry applications involving moderate to high impact and wear, or work with sliding or sticky abrasive feed material. Currently, Linard® 60 rubber is available as a hard rubber sheet, lining or moulded product. They are designed to give exceptional toughness (without compromising on natural elasticity) and withstand severe abrasion in heavy-duty, dry or wet applications. Linard® HD60 rubber is ideally suited for wet and semi-dry abrasion resistance applications involving aggregates and where sliding abrasion is the major concern (e.g. grinding mill applications). Linard® HD70 and HDS rubbers are typically used for applications involving larger particles in a dry environment, where cutting and slashing by sharp-edged heavy particles is the leading cause of abrasion (e.g. haul truck bed liners, primary screen decks and heavy-duty transfer chutes). These products are available as a hard rubber sheet, lining or moulded product. Linard® Rubber Modular Anti-Abrasion Panels By working closely with our customers in the mining and minerals processing sectors, our expert engineers have developed hard rubber wear panels for use in all medium to high wear applications. Our modular anti-abrasion panels are manufactured from Linard® HD60 rubber and provide the following benefits: • Ideally suited for localised impact and wear points • Engineered to provide superior wear life and resistance to abrasion, cutting and impact • Assist in the suppression of noise and vibration • Are easy to fit and replace and use a self-sealing design to reduce both installation time and costs • The interlocking plug design ensures easy alignment • The secure fastening mechanism reduces the chance of fine material ingress between panels to promote even wear patterns • Can be customised to suit specific lining requirements Each panel measures 300mm x 300mm and is available in 30mm and 50mm thicknesses to ensure the best fit for your specific operating conditions. Linard® HD60 rubber panels feature compression-moulded natural rubber with embedded high-chromium white iron or ceramic wear-resistant blocks for long wear life. How do we apply and secure Linard®? As a hard rubber sheet, we typically apply Linard® using our proprietary adhesive system to ensure that the rubber lasts to its fullest. As a moulded component, we usually bolt or form-fit all Linard® rubber parts. What size is Linard® available in? Usually Linard® rubber is made in sheets of 1.24m wide x 9.25m long and in thickness increments around 1 to 50mm thick. It can also be made as moulded components. What is the hardness of Linard® rubber? Linard® rubber comes in a variety of hardnesses to suit specific applications.
